The First Data FD-150 is the top of the line terminal from First Data and runs only on the First Data network.
The FD-150 is an upgrade to the FD-130. Same look and layout, but with an upgraded processor it produces even faster transactions. And with its upgraded memory, it is compliant for PCI 5.0
The FD-130 is the choice for merchants on the First Data network that may have more complicated acceptance needs, such as integrated gift card programs, multi-merchant capabilities, etc.
While some FD-150’s do not include a chip reader and require a separate PIN pad, this FD-150 has an integrated EMV reader, and also handles NFC (Applepay, GoogleWallet, Tap-to-Pay) transactions. This set up is ideal for restaurants where a customer does not need to input a PIN as you can run the transaction with just the terminal rather than a terminal plus a PIN pad.
The FD150 can communicate via an ethernet connection or wifi, and has dial back up.

FAST: when processing over the internet, typical processing time on an EMV chip transaction is 2-3 seconds when processing over IP. A great choice when you need a fast check out.
Transaction options: Accepts chip, swiped or keyed transactions, as well as NFC such as ApplePay, Google Wallet, and Tap-to-Pay. Can be combined with a RP-10 pad for PIN debit and EBT transactions.
Communication options: Can be set up to process over internet, over the phone line, or to process over the internet primary with an automatic dial backup feature if internet is down.
Capacity: This terminal holds 2 ¼” x 85’ thermal rolls, which is up to 70% more than similar terminals, saving you time and money on changing paper.
Automatic Updates: This terminal picks up automatic updates, so everything from changing the time on the terminal to operating system updates can be done automatically, remotely, without the need to spend hours on the phone with support walking through downloads or updates.
One Year Warranty: Includes full one year warranty on hardware, with optional two year warranty which can be added at check out.
Brand new terminal: this is a new-in-box terminal, complete with power supply.
